PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve such problem associated with conventional grain culm- succeeding and -transferring apparatuses that, since they have almost no differ ence between the height of the terminal part of a feeder at the front side and the height of an entrance funnel of a thresher, the succession of grain culms can not be performed smoothly, and resultingly the grain culms are fed to the thresher with the ear tips of the culms behind because of the transfer resis tance generated on the ear tip sides, or the like. SOLUTION: In a combine harvester 4, a grain culm-succeeding and transferring apparatus has the following structure: an entrance funnel 6 is placed at a position lower than the transfer terminal part of a grain culm feeder 5 placed at the rear part of a reaping pretreatment apparatus 3 so that the grain culms are smoothly succeeded and fed to the thresher; and further, a grain culm- guiding rubber plate is placed, and thereby the transfer posture of the grain culms succeeded to the entrance funnel 6 is stabilized, and the ear tips are arranged in a good state.
