PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary press for obtaining a high printing registering accuracy as a result of adequately controlling a phase of a plate cylinder by suitably controlling the phase of the cylinder. SOLUTION: The rotary press comprises a rotation detector for detecting an axial rotation of a non-drive side of a plate cylinder supporting mechanism of a printing unit to output a rotation signal, and a motion controller inputting the signal to synchronously control in a sectional drive. |
