PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a supporting device for an ultrasonic probe capable of surely and rigidly grasping the probe without introducing a damaged and a wear to the probe, simply attaching and detaching the probe, easily and rapidly sterilizing and cleaning and having high general purpose properties. SOLUTION: The supporting device 10 comprises a first member 18 having a first support piece 18a at its distal end, and a second support member 20 having a second support piece 20a at its distal end. In this case, the piece 18a is engaged and intersected with the piece 20a with each other. The piece 18a and the piece 20a are closed at the engaged part as a fulcrum to grasp an ultrasonic oscillator 12. In this state, a coupling member 24 inserted into the member 18 and the member 20 is engaged with a locking groove 26 to maintain the closed state of the member 18 and the member 20.
