PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an antifebrile material which is relatively large in an endothermic capacity, is soft and is free of overcooling. SOLUTION: Microcapsules formed by including latent heat storage agents in shells are dispersed into a gel consisting of an aqueous solution of a water-soluble high polymer, such as carboxymethyl cellulose, and this dispersion is inclosed into a bag-like body consisting of a soft synthetic resin sheet. A foam material of urethane or the like dispersed with such microcapsules is formed to a shape of a pillow or the like and is housed into a bag or the like made of a woven fabric, by which the ice pillow like antifebrile material is obtained.
