SOLUTION: A robot 1 is provided with an X-axis slider 7 supported on an X-axis frame 6 movable in a direction of an X-axis 3, a bracket 9 to be fastened to the X-axis slider 7, a Y-axis frame 10 supported on the bracket 9 a movable with the X-axis slider 7 and the bracket 9 in the direction of the X-axis 3, and a Y-axis slider 12 supported on the Y-axis frame 10 movable in a direction of a Y-axis 4 and for supporting a tool 11. The bracket 9 and the Y-axis frame 10 are integrally connected to each other. A connection body 13 of the bracket 9 and the Y-axis frame 10 linearly extends in the direction of the Y-axis 4 so that respective sectional surfaces in the direction of the Y-axis 4 may have the approximately same shape and size.
