PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To directly perform a simple edge position adjusting method on a work object raw material up to a limit dimension workable by respective tools on a comb-teeth tool post. SOLUTION: This comb-teeth tool post 10 is provided with a tool support part 14 for supporting plural tools 12 in parallel arrangement and a fixing mechanism 16 for detachably fixing the tools 12 to the tool support part 14. The tool support part 14 is provided with mutually parallelly extending plural tool receiving grooves 20, and support reference surfaces 28 having the length capable of supporting the tools 12 under pressure are formed on one side surface of the respective tool receiving grooves 20. These support reference surfaces 28 are arranged so as to deviate stepwise in the longitudinal direction and the same direction when viewed in the parallel direction of the tools 12 on the mutually corresponding one longitudinal directional ends 28a. In the comb- teeth tool post 10, the plural tools 12 can be installed in the corresponding tool receiving grooves 20 so that an edge 52 is arranged in a position of almost the same distance when viewed in the longitudinal direction of the tool receiving grooves 20 from a lower end surface 24 of the tool support part 14.
