PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inverter washing machine for varying, on an operation state, the capacity of an energy storage means for recovering regenerative energy generated at the time of braking a motor depending. SOLUTION: A control circuit 6 sends control signals to switches 33 and 34 corresponding to the operation state to perform switching of the switches 33 and 34. In this inverter washing machine, a first state of parallelly connecting a capacitor 9a and the capacitor 9b to both ends of an inverter 3 and operating them as a full wave rectifier circuit and a second state of serially connecting the capacitor 9a and the capacitor 9b to both ends of the inverter 4 and operating them as a double voltage rectifier circuit can be selected. |
