PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To measure the using temperature of cutting oil or the like before ignition of a machine tool, give a fire protection corresponding signal before the ignition in the judgment of an abnormality, preliminarily inform an automatic fire extinguishing device or fire sensing means of this signal to prevent the ignition or quickly perform the extinguishment after the ignition. SOLUTION: This fire protection and automatic fire extinguishing system comprises a temperature detecting means for detecting the temperature of a combustible liquid used in machine tools, a temperature monitoring means for monitoring the temperature detected by the temperature detecting means, and a means for transmitting a fire protection corresponding signal when the temperature reaches an before-ignition set signal of the combustible liquid preliminarily set in the temperature monitoring means. According to this, the ignition can be prevented, and an early fire extinguishing action can be executed after the ignition.
