PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a transfer sheet under linking operation from being mixed with a transfer sheet released from linking operation. SOLUTION: When a digital copy machine 901 is set in a linking operation mode, the digital copy machine 901 cooperates with another digital copy machine (e.g. a digital copy machine 902) connected with a network line 910 to processes one print job. When a transfer sheer discharged to the sheet discharge tray of the digital copy machine 902 is removed following to the linking operation, the linking operation mode is released and the digital copy machines 901, 902 can be used independently.
