PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dot line printer in which the impact damage to an ink ribbon is made uniform and print shade trouble is improved. SOLUTION: The dot line printer has a function for traveling an ink ribbon at a lower speed during line feed operation of a print sheet where print operation is not performed than during print operation or stopping traveling of the ink ribbon.
