PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent drying of washed rice during a process between soaking at rice washing part and transfer to rice cooker, concerning soaking method of washed rice in a rice washing and cooking machine in which weighing, washing and cooking of rice are automatically carried out. SOLUTION: In the rice washing and cooking machine in which a rice tank, a weighing machine, a rice washer and a rice cooker are provided to carry out weighing, washing and cooking of rice automatically, total washed rice is soaked in water at fixed time intervals during waiting time before inputting in the rice cooker after finishing washing in the washer and soaking in a washing part for a predetermined period and draining water. Water is supplied with a shower spray and drained by opening a drain valve.
