PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a deodorant package for a heat sterilizing machine which is capable of removing the malodors generated when the agar media used for mechanism inspection, medical wastes and wastes used for animal experiment are treated in the heat sterilizing machine and a method for deodorizing the inside of the heat sterilizing machine. SOLUTION: The deodorant package A for the heat sterilizing machine formed by packing a deodorant 3 into the package body 2 molded of a plastic film 4 by heat sealing its joint part 5 is housed together with a material b to be sterilized into the heat sterilizing machine 1 and the deodorant 3 in the package body 2 is expanded by heating with the heat sterilizing machine 1. The package body is opened in the heat sealing part 5 and the deodorant 3 is splashed into the heat sterilizing machine 1, by which the inside of the heat sterilizing machine is deodorized.
