PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toy for pet, capable of solving the following problems caused by conventional toys: a grip or a rod is easily bent for a short time in usage, because the grip or the rod is made as a solid pole from a synthetic resin or glass fiber; a lead for hanging a pet-luring body is easily broken; the pet-luring body is poor in durability; the pet may suffer from dangers, because some of the pet-luring bodies are formed by using a wire or the like in their insides; and operability of the toy is poor, because the toy as a whole is prepared as a mere children's plaything. SOLUTION: This toy for pet is composed of a grip 2 from which a rod 4 comprising a hollow pipe obtained by impregnating glass fiber or carbon fiber with a heat-curable resin ands then thermally setting is extended, and further of protector 8 attached to the top of the rod. The toy can be lightly operated so as to make it possible to play with the pet in a sport-like feeling, because the hollow pipe is lightweight, has practical strength, is excellent in durability and has appropriate elasticity. When the lead 10 is made of high- density polyethylene fiber, the lead is prevented from being broken. And when the pet-luring body 11 is made of the high-density polyethylene fiber or the like without using metal, the body does not give danger to the pet. |
