PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent shift or variation in an image by a method wherein the image is rotated or contracted even when a distance between a transferring section and a fixing device is shorter than a maximum length of an OHP sheet or a thick paper sheet to be used in the conveyance direction. SOLUTION: When the length Pm of the image S in the right angle direction of the conveyance direction is shorter than the length of the image S on a recording paper sheet P in the conveyance direction, the image S is rotated by 90 deg.. When the length Pm of the image S is longer than the distance L between the fixing section and the transferring section, the image data is contracted more and then the forming of the image is executed. A speed of the fixing device 217 is lowered while a rear end section of the image passes through the transferring section. |
