WATER INTAKE APPARATUS FOR PADDY FIELD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water intake apparatus for a paddy field capable of surely performing opening and closing operations of a valve even when the water pressure of water to be taken in is high. SOLUTION: This water intake apparatus for the paddy field is obtained by composing a drive device connected to a valve element 11 installed so as to close an inflow port 3H for making water flow from a water intake chamber 5R into a water supply chamber 7R with shafts 9, 15 and 12 so as to convert the rotary motion of a motor 16 into a linear motion with a screw 18, moving the valve element 11 with the linear motion of the shafts 9, 15 and 12 and keeping the inflow port 3H in a closed state.
