<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermal printer in which stabilized printing can be carried out by ensuring a correct set up time. SOLUTION: The thermal printer comprises a synchronization circuit 4 outputting a synchronization print data signal y synchronized with the rising of a head clock signal b by latching a print data signal c in synchronism with the rising of the head clock signal b, and an inversion circuit 5 outputting an inversion head clock signal x produced by inverting the head clock signal b wherein the synchronization print data signal y is latched by a driver 3 in synchronism with the rising of the inversion head clock signal x and one line is printed by heating elements based on the latched print data.</p> |
