PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a paste kneading device stably operable for a long period without causing any serious problem even air is mixed in containers though the device can be manufactured at a relatively low cost by improving the paste feeding mechanisms (4a and 4b) of the device. SOLUTION: Container accepting means (12a and 12b) which accept the containers (86a and 86b) by respectively positioning at least the main parts (90a and 90b) of the containers (86a and 86b) between two pairs of walls (26a, 26b, 30a and 30b) and wall moving means (14a and 14b) which move at least one sides of the two pairs of walls (26a, 26b, 30a and 30b) in directions in which the walls are brought nearer to and separated farther from the other walls are provided. Paste contained in the containers (86a and 86b) is fed by smashing the main sections (90a and 90b) of the containers (86a and 86b) positioned between the walls (26a, 26b, 30a and 30b).
