PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable hand-type single inhalation therapeutic apparatus for administering an active material through the external nose or mouth. SOLUTION: This single inhalation therapeutic apparatus 10 comprises an outer vessel 29 and an inner vessel 27. At least a part of the inner vessel is enclosed by the outer vessel with a space therefrom, and the inner vessel and outer vessel are formed in substantially cylindrical shapes and partially have the same expansion. The outer vessel and inner vessel are sealed so as to be breakable. The inner vessel contains the active material 14, and the outer vessel is filled with a high-pressure gas. The apparatus 10 further comprises at least one operating means 16 accessible to the active material. The operating means communicates with the inner part of the outer vessel and inner vessel. The apparatus 10 is used in the operation of the operating means.
