ALUMINUM DROSS CASE SEPARATING AND TAKING-OUT METHOD, AND APPARATUS THEREFOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for smoothly and correctly taking out the dross cake obtained by squeezing the aluminum dross scraped out of an aluminum melting furnace to extract the molten aluminum, and an apparatus therefor. SOLUTION: When taking out the dross cake 11 squeezed on a die 7 via a pressure plate 12 from the die 7 the dross cake 11 is located forward in the advancing direction of an extruding cylinder 5 together with the pressure plate 12, the preferential extruding force is applied to a tail end of the pressure plate 12 on the dross cake 11 by a forward end face obtuse angle tilting head 2 of a piston shaft 19 of the extruding cylinder 5, the pressure plate 12 is detached from the dross cake 11, and then, the full extruding force by the head 2 is applied to the dross cake 11 to detach the dross cake from the die 7, and the dross cake 11 together with the pressure plate 7 is separated from the die 7 without loading any eccentric force on the piston shaft 19.
