PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform massage with improved stability and handliability by firmly supporting a footrest made heavy by incorporating a massage unit with excellent horizontal balance and by enabling the footrest to elivate to the almost same height as a seat part with small handling force. SOLUTION: The massage unit 32 is incorporated in the footrest 6 provided in front of the seat part 2 of a chair and a pair of a link lever A13. The link lever B14 for constituting a linking mechanism for connecting an operation lever 10 for turning the footrest and the footrest are provided on the left and the right of the footrest. Also, between the linking mechanism and a supporting leg 5 for supporting this massage machine, a gas spring 18 for supplying auxiliary force in a direction for turning the footrest in a horizontal direction is provided.
