PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lunch box which can hygienically store seasonings without touching food by forming a place for seasonings in the lid of the lunch box and makes quick preparation of lunch possible by securing the place for seasonings. SOLUTION: In a lunch box A having a case 1 string food and a lid 2 to be fitted into the top face of the case 1, a recess 6 to be used as a place of installation of seasonings is formed on the top face of the lid 2, grooves 7 for binding by a rubber band are formed by cutting level difference in both right and left sides of the recess 6, grooves 8 for installing chopsticks are formed by cutting level difference of the front and rear sides of the recess 6, seasoning 12 are placed in the recess 6, chopsticks 11 are placed longitudinally astride the seasonings, and the central portion of the chopsticks 11 are bound by the rubber band 10 to hold integrally the chopsticks 11 and the seasonings 12.
