PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game medium detector of a game medium capable of being accurately installed simply and at a short time without requiring no skill for a mounting work. SOLUTION: The detector detects a deposited state of a game medium (medal M) stored at a game medium storage part (medal storage part 303) in a box body (slot machine Y). In the detector, a plurality of conductive probes electrically conductable at the time when it comes into contact with the game medium deposited; a mounting base member 1 in which engagement apertures 3 for retaining their respective conductive probes 20 in parallel at predetermined spaces are previously formed; and a wiring (wiring cord 10) for transmitting a conductive signal from the conductive probes are integrally assembled.
