The invention relates to a method for the production of a hydrophobic or ultraphobic surface of objects made of silicate ceramic materials, characterized in that 1) a capillary porous surface is produced by applying an intermediate layer and 2) a thin layer with ultraphobic or hydrophobic properties is applied to said capillary porous surface. The invention also relates to an object made of a ceramic material with a hydrophobic or ultraphobic surface, characterized by a surface of said object having 1) a thin capillary porous intermediate layer made of at least one compound containing silicon oxide and 2) an external hydrophobic or ultraphobic layer. |
