摘要 PURPOSE:To synthesize musical tone waveform signals including intricate harmonic overtones with easy control in a musical tone synthesizing method to model the physical characteristics of sound sources. CONSTITUTION:Waveform signals are oscillated by a delay feedback loop section 10 to model the physical resonance characteristics of the sound sources and an excitation section 14. The waveform signals oscillated by this loop are taken out and are inputted to a waveform deforming section 27, which deforms the waveforms and adds a harmonic overtone component thereto. This waveform deformation is executed by differential calculation, nonlinear conversion processing of waveforms or modulation calculation, etc. The waveform signals oscillated by the loop and the deformed waveform signals are properly mixed at variable ratios, by which the musical tone synthesis of various timbres from the musical tones having the timbres intrinsic to the physical resonance characteristics of the modeled sound sources to the musical tones having the timbres entirely different therefrom by addition and control of the harmonic overtones is made possible.
