PURPOSE: To provide a lock device of a globe box improved so as to make it possible to promote the reduction of manufacturing manhours and weight reduction. CONSTITUTION: In order to hold a closing state of the lid(5) provided to an opening of the globe box(4), a latch cam in the lock device(7) of the globe box including the latch cam(11) capable of engaging with a striker(19) of a U-shaped bent round bar material a slider(12) for holding a locking state with the striker of the latch cam and a base(9) for supporting the latch cam in a state capable of being oscillated and, at the same time, slidably supporting the slider is constituted of a pair of cam plates(13). By the constitution, since sufficient strength can be ensured even if the latch cam is formed of synthetic resin, the reduction of manufacturing manhours and the promotion of weight reduction can be realized.
