PURPOSE: A method for providing design information using the internet and a system thereof are provided to supply and sell design information adapted to a search word inputted by a consumer by storing design information classified into various kinds of search conditions. CONSTITUTION: In a system having a consumer server and a manager server including at least sample information and design information and inputs one's member information, the manager server decides whether thing connected thereto through the internet, if a consumer performs a log-in process e consumer is a member or not(S13). If the consumer is a member, a search window is displayed for searching design information to be searched by the consumer(S15). If the consumer inputs a search word in the search window, the manager server displays at least one sample information most proper to the search word(S17). If the consumer selects one out of the sample information, the manager server displays price information to the corresponding sample information selected by the consumer(S19). If the consumer pays a buying price to the price information(S21), the manager server supplies design information corresponded to the sample information(S22).
