PURPOSE: An apparatus is provided to achieve an increase operating efficiency of the heat sink and improved reliability of the communication equipment by increasing heat radiating efficiency of the heat sink. CONSTITUTION: A heat sink(100) comprises a support base(110) mounted inside of a communication equipment; and a plurality of rounded cooling fins(120) formed integrally onto the upper surface of the support base so as to increase a heat radiating surface. The cooling fin has a plurality of cut-out grooves(10) formed with a predetermined spacing at the main body of the cooling fin, so as to guide flow of the waste heat in vertical and horizontal directions, thus maximizing the cooling efficiency. As a consequence, operating efficiency of the heat sink is increased even under a high temperature environment, while achieving an improved reliability of the communication equipment.
