PURPOSE: A hand-off processing apparatus and mobile body receiver for a communication system is provided to improve call quality by generating a same transmission signal as two different transmission signals when performing a hand-off and transmitting and receiving two different transmission signals using two base stations. CONSTITUTION: The first composition encoder(101) encodes an inputted bit series(X) and outputs the encoded bit series. An interleaver(102) interleaves encoded bits output from the first composition encoder(101) and outputs the interleaved bits. The second composition encoder(103) secondarily encodes the interleaved bits and outputs the encoded bits. The first transmission rate matching algorithm(104) receives a Z bit among bits(X,Y) encoded in the first composition encoder(101) and the bits encoded in the second composition encoder(103), repeatedly removes a specific bit according to a predetermined rule, and performs a transmission rate matching to generate new coding bits. The second transmission rate matching algorithm(105) receives a Y bit among bits(X,Z) encoded in the second composition encoder(103) and the bits encoded in the first composition encoder(101), repeatedly removes a specific bit, and performs a transmission rate matching to generate new coding bits. The first multiplexer(106) successively outputs signals generated in the first transmission rate matching algorithm(104) and provides one transmission signal. The second multiplexer(107) successively outputs signals generated in the second transmission rate matching algorithm(105) and provides an other transmission signal.
