PURPOSE: A solenoid valve of a BTCS(brake traction control system) is provided to flow oil toward a master cylinder by opening the solenoid valve, thereby controlling brake pressure of an entrance of a hydraulic pump without any additional pressure control valve. CONSTITUTION: A solenoid valve in a brake traction control system comprises a valve core(31) forming an entrance and an exit to flowing fluid by installing a through hole in the middle portion; a valve dome(32) closing an end of the valve core; an armature(33) mounted in the valve dome to move front and back; an excite coil(34) established on the outside of the valve dome to move the armature; a plunger(35) installed in the through hole of the valve core to open or close the entrance of the valve core; a return spring(37) opening the entrance of the valve core by returning the armature and the plunger while power is not applied to the excite coil; and a safety spring(38) opening an oil passage while the plunger is pushed back by pressure of the entrance of the valve core. Thereby, the solenoid valve in the brake traction control system controls brake pressure of an entrance of a hydraulic pump.
