PURPOSE: An apparatus for recycling sludge of a purification plant is provided to prevent environmental pollution by processing waste sludge having moisture content of 70 to 80% produced in a large amount at the purification plant. CONSTITUTION: In recycling the sludge produced at a purification plant comprising the processes of sludge collection, dehydration, multistage extrusion, rotary drying and rotary calcining, the apparatus for recycling sludge of the purification plant is characterized in that: a dehydrator(3) used in the repeated dehydration process is divided into a dehydration part(4) and a compression part(5); a piston(4"') connected to a rod(4") of a cylinder(4') is inserted into a porous part(3') at the upper part of which a hopper is formed in the dehydration part(4) so that sludge admitted into the porous part(3') is repeatedly dehydrated as the piston(4"') is being repeatedly reciprocated; and the dehydrated sludge is extruded in a pellet shape through extruding paths(5"',6",7",8") formed on the circumference of the extruding pipes(6,7,8) by consecutively operating multiple extruding pipes(6,7,8) installed in front of the porous part(3') as the rod (4") of the piston (4"') and an extrusion piston rod (5") are being operated at the same time after an open-and-shut door of the hopper is closed when the repeatedly dehydrated sludge is accumulated in a certain amount.
