PURPOSE: To prevent generated static electricity from accumulating on a sheet by forming the undermost layer of a multi-layered sheet which includes a sheet- like switch for detecting a stamping motion with a material having conductivity substantially over the entire surface. CONSTITUTION: This foot switch is constituted of a sheet-like switch main body 10 and a terminal member disposed on the edge of the sheet-like switch main body 10. Sequentially laminated on a back sheet of the undermost layer are, for example, a cushion sheet, an electrode protective sheet, a lower electrode sheet, a spacer sheet, an upper electrode sheet 7, and a plurality of bulging sheets 8 and a decorative sheet 9. An electrical signal from a signal source is fed to the current-carrying layer of the switch main body 10 via the terminal member. Switching on/off detects whether each switch region is stepped on. Preferably, the undermost layer is formed by kneading a conductive material, such as a carbon black with a synthetic resin material or by laminating a metal foil such as aluminum on front and back surfaces. Static electricity generated by rubbing sheets against each other is promptly grounded from the undermost layer to the face placed.
