PURPOSE: To properly and surely perform switch operation by the stepping of a foot, without confirming the operation by looking down every time. CONSTITUTION: This switch 1 is a foot switch composed by laminating multiple sheets including multiple switch sheets (a lower electrode sheet 5 and an upper electrode sheet 7) capable of detecting a stepping action. In this case, swollen parts which swell toward the outside are formed at positions on an ornamental sheet 9 of the uppermost layer, corresponding to stepping action detecting positions (positions where current carrying layers 54a, 54b, 54c, 54d are formed) of the switch sheets.
