PURPOSE: An aging method for electronic component is provided to reduce pitches of electronic component and allow for mass production. CONSTITUTION: An aging method is characterized in that current restriction elements(18) such as constant current diode are installed in each of the power circuits(16) of electronic components(14) arranged onto a lead frame(12), and aging operation of the electronic component is performed in a constant temperature furnace, with the current restricted to 100 μA as a maximum level. Since the electronic component is not burnt, space for insertion of a separator is not needed, while making it possible to set pitches of the electronic component small and eliminate the necessity of washing the lead frame or constant temperature furnace. It is possible to protect the lead frame and jig from damage caused by high temperature, since burning process is eliminated.
