PURPOSE: A multi contact input apparatus is provided to make its overall shape smaller and more compact by improving arrangement of movable electrodes having snap plates. CONSTITUTION: A multi contact input apparatus comprises a center switch(S1), many side switches(S2) and an operating member. Each switch has fixed electrodes(31,32) formed at a body(1), and movable electrodes(41,42). The movable electrodes(41,42) are coupled to the fixed electrodes(31,32), respectively, and include a snap plate of the central switch(S1) and snap plates of the side switches(S2), respectively. The movable electrodes(42) of the side switches(S2) are disposed to be overlapped with the movable electrode(41) of the center switch in thickness direction of the body(1). The overlapping makes the body(1) smaller by the overlapped width(D). Recesses of the body(1) are used to position the movable electrodes(41,42).
