Converter has also active substance carrier made in form of cylinder with-diameter holes in upper part and heating element installed inside and provided with detachable stopper. Afterburner consists of two steps, each being electric heater made in form of net differing in size of meshes and secured in converter housing. EFFECT: improved efficiency of exhaust gas cleaning, decreased hydraulic resistance in engine exhaust duct, increased service life of catalyst. 1 dwg
