摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To correctly control fuel injection quantity and fuel injection time in the case where fuel is injected at short time intervals. SOLUTION: A needle 33 for opening and closing the fuel injection hole 311 of a fuel injection valve 10 is activated by fuel oil pressure. An oil pressure chamber 35 to which the pressure of the fuel injected works is provided to energize the needle 33 in the direction to open the fuel injection valve 10 by the pressure in the oil pressure chamber 35, and a control oil pressure chamber 37 to which the pressure of the fuel injected works is provided to energize the needle 33 in the direction to close the fuel injection valve 10 by the pressure in the oil pressure chamber 35. The needle is moved in the direction to open the valve 10 by relieving the oil pressure in the control oil pressure chamber outside for injecting fuel. A fuel oil passage 351 for introducing the fuel oil pressure to the oil pressure chamber 35 and a control oil pressure passage 373 for introducing the fuel oil pressure to the oil pressure chamber 35 are connected to a high pressure fuel oil pipes 11. This constitution prevents the pressure changing in the fuel oil passage 351 when fuel is injected from being propagated to the control oil pressure chamber resulting in the stabilization of the movement of the needle.
