PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To adjust the steel skeleton erection long span at good work efficiency without large-weight materials. SOLUTION: A pair of connecting plates 4, 5 are temporarily fixed substantially in parallel opposite to opposite ends 11, 12 of wide-flange shape steel 1, 2 which are iron and steel beams, a long bolt 8 is penetrated through bolt through holes 41, 51 of the connecting plates 4, 5, and nuts 9, 10 screwed on the long bolt 8 are turned to adjust the distance between the connecting plates 4, 5, whereby a span H is expanded or narrowed to attain a desired state.
