PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wing tile capable of enhancing the design property of an entire roof by imparting a sense of integrity of the wing tiles with pantiles while assuring watertightness. SOLUTION: The wing tile 1 laid on the verge section A1 of a gable roof A has a hanging part 11 formed on the outer edge of the wing tile 1, with the inner edge of the wing tile 1 used as an overlapping section 12 with an adjoining pantile 2. The wing tile 1 is so formed that the upper surface 1a of the wing tile 1 is coplanar with the upper surface 2a of the pantile 2. A cutout 15 serving as a connection with the hanging part 11 of another wing tile 1 laid on top of the wing tile 1 is formed at the upper end of the hanging part 11 of the wing tile 1 and an inwardly tilted upper-end taper is formed at the upper end of the hanging part 11 formed with the cutout 15. A lower-end taper which mates with the upper-end taper is formed at the lower end of the hanging portion 11.
