The attachment consists of a scooter type frame (12) which has a front steering wheel (18), a motor driven rear wheel (16) and battery (14). The saddle may be removed to allow the front wheels (38) of a wheel chair to be drawn over the rear scooter wheel and secured in an anchoring fitting (42) which is fixed to the lower member of the scooter frame. Alternative designs of anchoring fittings are included.
