PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable one of a bidder and an auctioneer of an electronic bidding system to find illegal operation even when the other illegally operates fact information saved on its storage medium. SOLUTION: A bidding machine 101 sends electronic data regarding a bid to an auctioning machine 103 through an electronic notarization system 105. A storage medium 102 where the electronic data regarding the bid are recorded and stored is installed. The auctioning machine 103 is connected to the bidding machine 101 through a network 107 and receives the electronic data regarding the bid sent from the bidding machine 101 through the electronic notarization system 105 and automatically determines a successful bidder. In the auctioning machine 103, a storage medium 104 where the electronic data regarding the bid are recorded and stored is installed. The electronic notarization system 105 saves the contents of the information regarding the bid, the fact information, and arrival fact information to be sent from the bidding machine 101 to the auctioning machine 103.
