摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small and low-cost current sensor by which a magnetic field can be detected with high sensitivity and over a wide range, which is not affected by a disturbance magnetic field due to a transient current, geomagnetism or the like so as to be adapted to a vehicle or the like and which is not affected or the like by a temperature characteristic peculiar to an element. SOLUTION: The current sensor is provided with a means by which a first magnetic impedance element (MI element) 1 and a second MI element 1' are installed in such a way that one is in the opposite direction regarding the direction of the magnetic field due to a current to be detected. A DC bias coil 2 and a negative-feedback bias coil 3 are wound on the first MI element, and a DC bias coil 2' and a negative-feedback bias coil 3' are wound on the second MI element. Both ends of the first MI element and the second MI element are connected to the respective negative-feedback bias coils via respective detection circuits 4, 4'. Terminal ends of the negative-feedback bias coils are connected to ends, on one side, of elements 5, 5' for output detection, outputs are detected at both ends of the respective elements for output detection, and respective detected outputs are used as one current output.</p>
