PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a planar display device capable of obtaining satisfactory and high picture quality by improving display unevenness by positions of a screen even in display devices of a large-sized display, a high definition display and a multi-level display in which signal lines are wired in a comb shape. SOLUTION: This display device is provided with a display position detecting circuit 72 detecting a horizontal display position and a vertical display position in a liquid crystal panel based on a control signal, a data adjusting circuit 74 correcting a picture signal so that the picture signal equivalent to a voltage drop by the impedance of the signal line based on these position detection signals and is provided with a data timing control circuit 78 and a selector circuit 52 which controls horizontal timing and vertical timing and, also, outputs the picture signal to an upper side source driver 24 and a lower side source driver 26 by changing the arrangement of the picture signal so as to display the corrected picture signal on the liquid crystal panel.
