PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an optical fiber connector in which members for arranging optical fibers are manufactured in one group. SOLUTION: The subassembly of the optical fiber connector is provided with a first housing member and a first optical fiber ferrule, The latter is connected to the housing member. The ferrule is made of silicon and equipped with a channel for arranging optical fibers inside. The housing member is equipped with a recess. At least a part of the ferrule is provided in the recess for the purpose of coupling the ferrule with the housing member.
