PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily change a standard control program for applying a moduled and packaged control program to a similar plant. SOLUTION: This method for generating a control program corresponding to various objects to be controlled stored in a plant controller comprises a step (a) for determining the classification of the object, a step (b) for displaying the standard control program of a first object whose change input from the outside part is available when the classification of the object is the first object, a step (c) for applying the standard control program of the first object as it is, a step (d) for applying the standard control program of the first object by changing a part of this standard control program, and a step (e) for operating the change input of the standard control program of the first object whose change input from the outside part is available as reference display when the classification of the object is not the first object, and applying this standard control program.
