PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To decrease the ornamenting process steps for metallic temples of spectacles and to express three-dimensional ornamentation of acute angles. SOLUTION: The temple parts are provided with recesses. Thermosetting resins are thickly built up in these recesses and are dried for 1 to 4 hours at 60 to 100 deg.C to cure the resins. Characters and patterns are cut and expressed directly by a cutting machine on the surfaces of the cured resins.
