PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sales managing device, which can be driven for a long time by an incorporated battery without damaging a function for a transaction with a client. SOLUTION: In the state of driving by means of a battery 5, sales managing data are stored in journal data backup memories 13, 14 and 15 and by stopping a journal printer 10, power consumption is reduced. Thus, driving enable time by means of the battery can be prolonged without damaging a preserving function for journal data.
