摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To smooth uneven illumination by changing the light emitting intensities of respective LEDs constituting the light source part of an image input device. SOLUTION: An angle detecting part 48 detects an angleθformed between an object mounting base 1 (figure 1) and a support pillar 5 (figure 1). A controlling part 46 individually controls the light emitting intensities of a plurality of LEDs 1 to 7 based on a 1st correction coefficient read from a correction memory 47 in accordance with the angleθ. An image signal subjected to photoelectric conversion by a CCD 41 is subjected to image processing in a processing part 42. An A/D conversion circuit 43 converts the image signal into a digital signal and sends the digital signal to a shading correction circuit 44. The circuit 44 adjusts the signal level of the image signal in accordance with a 2nd correction coefficient read from the memory 47. A D/A conversion circuit 45 converts the image signal corrected by the circuit 44 into an analog video signal. The analog video signal is outputted to an external monitor for display (not shown in figure) or the like.
