PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for assigning a physical channel to a user equipment that can efficiently assign a physical channel of the 3rd Generation Partnership Project to the user equipment. SOLUTION: The user equipment transmits a message, to the access preamble AP of which a preamble signature code generated by using any of signatures and a physical channel access pre-ambling code of a 1st uplink generated by using any of x-sets of 1st uplink physical channel pre-ambling scrambling codes allowed for a concerned cell are set, to a base station through a 1st uplink channel, the base station interprets the signature and the type of the 1st uplink code included in the received AP and generates and transmits an acquisition indicator AI to the user equipment. The user equipment receiving the AI uses the channel processing code decided by the approved signature and a physical channel message part scrambling code to the 1st uplink to transmit a message to the base station.
