PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a combustion method of an improved combustion efficiency by supplying incineration ash and moisture in combustion of combustibles. SOLUTION: A combustible gas is generated by subjecting water or water vapor and incineration ash containing aluminum to a contact reaction in a reduction zone out of an oxidation zone and a reduction zone produced in combustion of combustibles. Thus, the combustion efficiency is improved by utilizing water in this combustion method.
