<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a safety device for a door improved in such a way that a user can disable a function at the discretion of the user and the user is free from feeling troublesomeness in intentionally closing the door without damaging security at the time of closing the door unintentionally. SOLUTION: The safety device (5) for the door has a stopper member (10) capable of being kept at a protruding position inhibiting full closure of the door by being sandwiched between the door and a stopper frame when the door is opened, and being moved to an immersed position at which the full closure of the door is permitted by a specified operation. The safety device (5) is provided with a selector means (16) for manually disabling the full closure inhibiting function of the stopper member. By this constitution, the user who does not need the safety device is exempted from troublesomeness of being forced to release the stopper at each time of closure.</p> |
